Squats, butt lifts, lunges and ham string excercises work best.
Also, you can check out non-surgical Velasmooth, Endermologie and Mesotherapy.

Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue.

The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism.

The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic. Also, most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism. This is where Velasmooth or mesotherapy come in handy.

The attached site, http://www.healthyskinportal.c... , has more info.

I have been using a set called Cellu-Shape by Mary Kay, and it has airbrushed the cellulite from my hips and thigh area. There is a daytime body moisturizer (used on yoru entire body) that stimulates your cells, significantly increases the skin’s hydration level and begins the firming and toning process, and then a nighttime body gel that you apply to the dimpling areas. It works by strengthening the skin’s support system in problem areas so the visible signs of cellulite are minimized. It also moisturizes skin so it feels silky-smooth to the touch.

My skin is a lot firmer, and I am very happy with the results. The information about this product says that 70% of women lose 1/ inch from each thigh, and from my personal experience, it's very true. Give it a try!

I used the nivea Goodbye Cellulite it was about 7 dollars. It was a gel and didn't smell too bad. I had to use it for almost 8 weeks to get the full effect but my mom said it worked wonders on my thighs. I love it. My stepmom sent me to Tyra's website to find it there are before and after's on there too- hope this helps.

I have never had any kind of surgery so I can't offer any personal experiences, but I found a site that has a lot of information that I'm sure would help you. There are a lot of things that factor into the cost and it may vary depending on what the doctor charge. You should check with you insurance to see if they cover any of the expenses.
