Cellulite can be defined as a series of ripples of fat cells and subcutaneous connective tissue that lie just beneath the skin. The condition is generally found on the thighs and butt, especially in women. Cellulite has a characteristic ‘orange peel’ appearance and some refer this to ‘cottage cheese’ too. It affects women but very few men, likely because of the minute difference in the cells’ structure between man and woman.
